Saying Goodby to TOM PRY

Everyone,

There are no right words and this is very difficult to pass on, but any of you who have been following Searcy Yeasteryear for any time know that Tom was in a battle with lung cancer.

Tom Pry passed away at 6:15am, December 21, 2007.

There will be visitation Sunday, 12/23/2007, from 2pm to 4pm, at Powell Funeral Home on Beebe Capps in Searcy, AR.

Tom's family sent an email thanking you all for your support over the years, sending it to those on Tom's computer distribution list. I received it, and wanted to post this information for those of you who may not have been on the list.

Tom was so meticulous in keeping the Searcy Yesteryear blog, and as a result we have a wonderful record of happenings in our little town. His shoes will be hard to fill. And he will be missed.

If you would like to post a memory you have about Tom, you can reply to this blog. Bill and I will try to make sure the family gets a copy.
