George and Verna Payne's son, Gary passed away yesterday (Saturday) morning at home with George and Verna.

He had cancer, and was diagnosed about three years ago. Verna said Sunday afternoon they were going to have a memorial service, and then take the body to Honduras to be buried with his wife. She and Gary were married and lived in Searcy until she passed away a few years ago. They returned her body to her home in Honduras, and Gary had requested that he be buried with her.
